Robin Durston

Robin is the founder of RHD Events, a full-service public relations firm. Prior to establishing her company in 1995, she was Media Relations Manager for Quality Inns International and Vice President of new business for Mary Ann Lundgren, Inc., a McLean, Virginia, based public relations firm.

Robin became involved with Cancer Support Community nearly thirty years ago. Introduced to the organization by her sister, Jill Durovsik, an integral member of the Philadelphia affiliate, who also served for many years as National Board Chair. In addition to fundraising and supporting events, Robin worked with Jill to establish the first CSC meditation garden in honor of their mother.

When the national headquarters moved to Washington, D.C., Robin continued to assist with fundraising efforts; elevating awareness and visibility of the organization.

Robin and her husband, Marshall, divide their time between Bethesda, Maryland and McLeod, Montana and enjoy visiting their three grown children in New York and California.
